Development of a Decision Support Tool for Nephrotic Syndrome Management

Study Overview

Delivery of patient-centered care is particularly challenging in the area of chronic disease management. Novel theoretical and methodological approaches are essential to support patients and providers in navigating the complexity of the decision making process in chronic illness. The goal of our project is to develop a health information technology platform to support comprehensive patient-centered communication and decision making and facilitate shared learning between the patient and members of the healthcare team.

Eligibility Criteria

- Diagnosis of idiopathic/primary nephrotic syndrome, FSGS, MCD, MN in self or minor dependent in the past 6 months to 3.9 (or less than 4) years
- Over 18 years of age
- Conversational English proficiency
